Sabina Pathan


Sabina trained in the laboratory from 2016-2017 as a medical student researcher.

During her time in the lab, she was supported by the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation Fellowship.

A key research contribution during this period of training was using genome editing techniques in stem cells and lentiviral infection of endothelial cells to explore the epigenetic regulation at 6p24 CAD/MI locus.

Sabina is currently a fourth year medical student at the University of Toledo.
